VeloMini Introduces the VeloMini III

3 Speed Folding Electric Bicycle

For Immediate Release -

San Francisco, CA – Full size bikes are great for exercise

and recreation near home but when it comes to travel or

combining bikes with mass transit, RV, the trunk of a car or

private plane, lightweight folding electric bikes are your best

bet. The VeloMini is the most compact and lightweight

folding electric bike. Ride, carry and park the VeloMini

anywhere, where the rest won’t.

Most electric folding bicycles are heavy, 50+ pounds, and

extremely hard to fold and carry. The new VeloMini III

overcomes all of these issues. Even with the new Shimano

internal 3 speed in the rear hub, the 180 watt motor in the

front hub, and the 24 volt, 9 ah battery in the frame, the

VeloMini weighs less than 34 lbs.

The new VeloMini III offers throttle as well as pedal assist.

With throttle mode only, the range with the new 9 ah

battery is up to 12 miles. With pedal assist the range can

be greatly extended. First gear makes it easy to assist the

motor when traveling up hill or from a dead stop and third

gear allows the pedals to keep up with the motor when

traveling at the top speed of 12 miles an hour.
